(12 June 1929– early March 1945 )

She was a German-Jewish teenager who was forced to hide during the Holocaust. She and her family spent 25 months in an annex of rooms above her father’s office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands during the World War II. She died of typhus at Bergen-Belsen. She was 15 years old.

Anne got her diary when she was 13. She called it ”Kitty”. Her Diary was found by one of the family helpers, Miep Gies. It was published on 1947. It was translated into 67 languages worldwide.
